Hello all!
I have a little project to clean up a conference table. The customer doesn't want to see the patch cords all over the tabletop. There is a hole in the middle of the table to get access to the switch mounted on the underside of the table.
I need to get a retractable patch cable "hub" for 6-8 cables. Basically, when they're finished using the cables, the cables coil back to the hub. I've seen individual units for each cable. Are there any multi-cable units?
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Has the wireless been considered as an option? We have quite a few of these through out the dept. at one of my jobs that has cat7 cabling all around building put into use with most of the equipment, if not all of it only at 100Mbps

TekMason,
That's what I need. However, I need a bigger one. Thanks for the info. I'll pass it on to my distributor to see if they can help me out.
They have a bunch of wireless APs in the building but they still want the option to use cables in the conference room.

Good suggestion Cepega.
Believe it or not wireless access in common areas is more secure (and flexible)that wired. We removed all wired ports in common areas at our sites and use wireless only. There are 3 SSIDs that map to 3 different VLANs:
Public (WEP) - for all non-company owned PCs. It maps to a VLAN that is completely isolated from our internal LAN/WAN and uses a consumer grade Cable Modem internet connection. The passkey for this SSID is posted in all conference/meeting rooms.
Private (WPA2) - for company owned notebooks. It maps to VLAN 1 that is our internal LAN. The passkey for this SSID is very long, complex and only known by IT staff. If our users need wireless LAN access an IT person must enter the password (and save it).
VoIP (WPA2) - much the same as the Private SSID but it goes to an different internal VLAN where the traffic gets priority QoS applied to it.
TekMason IP therefore I am
