surdel Member Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 352 delta bc	Local supplier quoted me a price and would not except it for what they wanted. So, looking for a supplier that sells paint in the Washington state area or, something that is half the cost up here in bc. Paint is for backboards.

Just buy fire retardant plywood and paint it with anything you like. As long as you leave a patch exposed where the plywood's certification stamp is visible for the inspector, you will be fine. I was at nedco, and a little bag maybe 50 zip-tie blocks cost 90 dollars.Sales agent said it would make more sense to buy them from home depot. The cost of cat5 beldon box, 170 dollars? Anyway, The idea of fire resistant plywood is a good idea but never heard of any. I will call around and see if such plywood exist.

I usually shop around for a role of velcro get that at walmart cheap, since BC supplies most of North America with plywood shop around for flame resistant plywood. The biggest plywood factory in the world is in Victoria you should be able to find something local IBDN/CDT Certified for Whats Comming next! :thumb:
