I work for a Mortgage Broker company and recently we purchased a Merlin Legends Phone system on E-bay. Now we have been trying to set the system up for weeks, and they have tasked me with figuring out how to set this system up or finding someone in our area who can come in and set the system up for us. Another Question, We have an MLX -20L phone and we have no clue how to set it up. What is the DSS line in the phone and what does it plug into.

The DSS line is for the station Ajunct that is, the Busy lamp field, or the direct station selector console. This unit just has buttons on it and has no keypad. You need all 8 wires for the DSS to work.

It's a shame you're 200 miles away. I would go if I did't have to spend 7 hours driving both ways
