IDS 84. Firmware 42/94-4.xx

This is merely annoying, not necessarily a problem. I setup a page button but get no operation. All phones are in zone 60 and the software does not allow me to put a zone in, so I assume this version doesn't support zones.

Any idea why page doesn't do anything? Is this an option or something (This system has no options installed)?

Are you using the "S" for sub-code in key programming to enter the page group. I had a similar problem when learning the programming.

Since my first thought was "Huh?", I'm sure I'm not. I can dial "60" on the phone to page but programming the key with the paging code (810, I think) didn't do anything and I'm not sure about the "S" code in programming the button. I guess I'll look at that in the morning.

Yes you must use the key code 810 and then press S to get to the subcode and enter 60.Then the key will work.

Thanks much, I'll do it when I get in there Monday. So far I'm pretty content with the system.

My next task is to get inbound calls to ring on multiple phones - that shouldn't be too difficult.

No that's easy just assign the ringing on the A screen for each extension. There is a day and night selection.
