Hi.
I was wondering if anyone here has worked with both ESI and Samsung?
I was trying to compare the two system but I have only worked with Samsung in the past.
Samsung are easy to program but I also heard that ESI is easy to program?
One of the major differences that I've seen is that ESI can transfer Caller ID information to the analog extensions but Samsung has not been able to figure out how to do this.
So if your client are planing on having a Fax server, you can explain that the Caller ID feature will not work on the Samsung Systems but will on the ESI. Many fax servers use the Caller ID feature to look up contact information from a customer relational management program. However this is completely useless if you buy the Samsung.
I was wondering if anyone know of any other differences between the two systems. Either positive or negative.
Thanks.
