Just installed a used Medley phone system in an 8x16 format. We have 6 incoming CO lines. Lines 1-4 hook up to one 66 block, lines 5-6 hook up on the other. Lines 4 and 5 (on 2 different 66 blocks) will not access at all, and they worked fine when in straight POTS setup. That is one issue. The other is I can get 2 lines to ring to where I want them to ring, but the other lines will not. Any suggestions? Other than these initial problems, it seems to be a nice setup.

Try defaulting system, and reprogramming.
I just put a Medley in my house and if you do not default some weird things will happen.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

We use a Medley and love it. Definitely do a system initialization to clear it out, then program it from scratch. I will bet it will come up just fine for you.

Thanks all, initializing worked great. And I also found one of the wires was bad for a line that wouldn't access, all lines now ring and ring to the right station after programming. One other question, is there a way to make each station automatically pick up the outgoing line associated with that station instead of rolling to first available?
