Are there any Windows software utilities available for performing IDS 228 maintenance, programming, and/or back-ups in a GUI? Or, do maintenance personnel always use ProComm to communicate with the system from a PC? Also, has anyone done it with HyperTerminal? Thanks...

Hyperterm does not work well with Executone systems, at least not for me. X-Talk and Procomm are the only ones that I have used over the years. ------------------ Business Communication Systems and Service

--Andrew</font> Symantec (Procomm) makes a windows based version that works well. Although XP is not supported it does run and function well. ------------------
