Hello all. I have come into a business and inherited the management of what I think is an original IVX from ESI. I'm having some problems with programming it. When I go to set the time and date it only lets me set the time. Also, the caller id menu option doesn't seem to be there at all. Both items are in the manual I have. Does anyone know anything about this or of anywhere I can look for a solution to get to these items? Many thanks.

on the phone do you have a park key or a park 1,2,3 keys?

Yes,

I have Park 1,2,3. The instructions say to hit Prog/Help. This starts the programming. Then hit Park 3 and enter password to get into System wide programming. This all works. Once in I can set the time but the system totally skips setting the date. And the caller id option is not available. Thank you.

I seem to remember a version of software or something where the time and date prompts were missing. I can't remember if you can just go ahead and dial the program code anyway.

The caller ID thing may also be missing prompts.

I think we need to get a software update. Go into programming as usual then.........

Hmmm, maybe you should email me and I'll give you those steps that way instead of on the open board.

The old classic system time and date needs to be set by ESI tech support. If you call them they will give you the Engineering code to set the time and date.
