Hey i'm brand new to ESI phone sytems and we just got the e-class at the place i work and i had a qick question. is the MOH system-wide or can the music be changed by a phone to phone basis? In other words can i change MY MOH and not anyone elses?

The short answer is "no". The only way it would be possible (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) would be to setup tenant service, if your system's version is one which supports this feature. However, tenant service has other implications, that may have some effects that you don't want.

5 years is correct regarding tenant service, however, this system must be gen II & then you have the option of only 2 tenants.

There is devices that can do this... You hook them up before the co goes into the system and play a tone in the System MOH to signal the device to pick up the line and put it on it's hold. Maybe viking sells something like that. I've ran into it with a different system.
