Since I'm still kind of new with ESI and much more familiar with Toshiba I'm wondering if the ESI can do this....
I have a customer that has 2 DID's assigned to his phone... if he is on the phone and a call comes in on his second DID he wants it to ring his phone as well. In Toshiba land its easy to do with a multiple extension (Phantom extension )but can the ESI put something like this on a key?

I believe as long as the extension has call waiting enabled, it would work. It wouldn't ring in on a button, but rather would just ring in. I don't think it would be any different than an intercom call ringing the station while that phone was busy with an outside line.

If that doesn't work, you could always have it ring a department group, with call waiting enabled (assuming the system has a newer feature set that has the call waiting on department group). Then, I suppose if you had to have it on a button, you could maybe program a button for that department group.

This is the kind of thing I would usually test, to make sure all possible scenarios worked, before showing the customer.

As long as you have call waiting enabled it will work fine. I am almost new to esi I use to install Toshiba and I remember the days of Toshiba land on the 424i and the 40i.
