It works fine with personal contacts, but many businesses use GROUP and/or SHARED contact lists. When you try to drag and drop one of these into VIP, it throws up an error.
ESI says it doesn't work. I'm thinking it SHOULD work, and hopefully will in a not-so-distant upcoming release!
What does everyone else think?
The current work-around that I've found is to drag the group or shared contact into your personal contact list, then into VIP. Kind of a pain, but you don't usually have to do the same contact more than once per user. Still, users don't see it as being very user-friendly when you go to train them on something that you expect to work, and you end up with an error popping up.
