We have a 228 with options DCM3 LCR VMS Sil 324 AACD500 CID TIME. We would like to interface the tele-sales phones to their PCs ("CTI" using TAPI) so that incoming calls (with caller ID) will automatically call up the customer records and so that outgoing calls can be made directly from the telephone number field in a database. I've tried to research this but need some add'l info...
1. What options will I need on the 228? 2. There seems to be a rare model M-160 phone that has TAPI. Where can I get some info on this model? 3. Are there other TAPI phones supported by the 228 ? 3. Our 29K/D stations have DB-25s on the back. I don't suppose this gives me any TAPI capability?

You need Executones TAPI software. Not sure of what else. Only did it once it 13 years with Executone.
If all else fails, use a BFH.
