We have a client who has an ESI IVX S-Class. Does this system support an external MOH source? If so, is additional programming required? thanks!

It does but you may find you would be better off to download your recording right on the drive. The only programming involved is to select the appropriate music on hold source.

Jenny

I notice in your profile this:
on-hold messaging and overhead music services

I'm going to assume you are planning to provide custom "message on hold" to a client or clients. In answer to your question yes the S-Class system supports MOH. It is not nessesary to provide a seperate device to constantly input the message. You can produce your message and send it as a wav file to the technician responsible for the ESI system and it can be downloaded into the systems memory for constant play. This is a procedure requiring a password which the technician can do as part of his or her service.

John:

Did you ever "master" your project on uploading the MOH via a recordable device?
