I have an ESI-600 (a few of them, anyway) that I am using TAPIT call accounting software with. I don't think TAPIT has updated thier software, because it will only read the SMDR of an ESI system in standard format and can only read 3 digit extensions. I will work with TAPIT on that end of things.
My question is, does anyone know of a system that has similar SMDR output that is formatted like the ESI SMDR (using column width formatting or CSV)?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance gambitfw

What was the fix? Did they make some changes to account for some of the format changes (such as extension length)?

Tapit updated the way the SMDR is read on an ESI system. The old entry only read as "ESI IVX 128", so before the ESI 100, 200, 600, and 1000 came out, they only had to capture a column width of 3 character/digits for extensions. The update added an "ESI COMM. SERVER" entry and updated the the other setting to read a width of 4 character/digits for the extesions.

We use/sell PABXSoft and they updated their software last year for the same reason, the update to 4 digit numbering plans.
