While you are still looking into this, rather than rebooting the phone system, try to reseat the the PRI smart card or at least disconnect the PRI from the phone system and see if the problem lingers. I would start with the 3 PRI and go backwards. This will at least keep the system up and still force the PRI to train-up again. Also, while that 3rd pri is unplugged, try a LD call that would go out on the 2nd PRI by programming a co line key in that range (ie 24 to 46). Maybe you can get it narrowed down to 1 of the 3 PRI's (I'm assuming they are bonded together).

Just an update on what caused this problem. Our Carrier had sold us a split PRI data/voice years ago. We outgrew the 1 T1 so we went to a full T1 for data and a full one for voice. We started getting busy signals so we added another voice PRI, more busy signals and another PRI for voice.
The problem was that the original PRI was never changed to a full voice PRI. It only had 11 channels of voice. Even worse the circuit was never hunting to the 2 new PRI's so we were wasting those as well.
The ESI kept crapping on itself for some reason but is now ok with the channels available.

I get it, since you only had 11 lines to access and then they were full you would get a fast busy, Duh!
Then when you power cycle the system and knock everyone off of course everything is fine, you just cleared the 11 channels, Duh!
Blame the ESI system of course, it couldn't be the idiot responsible for the PRI provisioning. Duh!
If I go look at your profile am I gonna see "IT" anywhere near your occupation.

OK, I had a bad day yesterday doing this: :bang:
It seems the scenario happens all the time. There is a Telephone System in place and there is a problem somewhere. 2 of 3 parties are involved in diagnosing the problem. Party 1-The end user, Party 2-The service provider. Since Party 3-(The Phone Guy) is not present then he and his equipment will get the blame almost immediately.
What gets on my nerves is even after determining the problem and the solution there are still those that make foolish remarks such as this:
"The ESI kept crapping on itself for some reason but is now ok with the channels available."
I feel better now!

Let me get this right, tm2k: You have a system with 3 PRI's and are trying to troubleshoot it without assistance from a trained ESI tech?
