This is just a quick question to see if anyone else has ran into this issue. My office and my County Manager's office across town are both running ESI 256-x phone cabinets with Esi-Link, which works great. Our DSS office is currently in the process of installing their CS-600 with Esi-Link but they are using a 4-digit numbering plan. I cannot call directly to their extensions, or program a station key for an extension on the DSS cabinet. One of the Esi Technicians setup a 111 mailbox that will connect to that system which, from there, we can then dial an extension. Has anyone else run into this or know if Esi has a fix for this issue instead of a work-around? Thanks.

Just off the top of my head i believe the 600 will need to use the same numbering plan as the other systems.

The ESI technical document on this issue shows that if you are using an ESI Comm Server with a 4 digit dialing plan then ESI-Link with the IVX line with a 3 digit plan is not compatible.
Definition: Not compatible  Calls from the remote site to the ESI Communications Server won’t be completed, although calls from the ESI Communications Server to the remote site will be completed.
The IVX line was just not designed to handle the 4 digit plan.
