I have a customer that currently has a KeyVoice voice mail. We have set up a mail box to call 5 different numbers ane if the call is not answered it forwards to a different mail box and calls 5 other people. My question is we are talking about upgrading to a ESI 200 but cascading mailboxes will only do 3 numbers. does anyony have any ideas for a work around to be able to call more than 3 people?

Yep....AJ told me this in training way back when...set up a group mailbox and put in a bunch of guest mailboxes. Then stagger the delay notification for each of the guest mailboxes so one notifies right away, the next has a 5 minute delay, the next a 10 minute etc.

A little bit cumbersome but it will allow you to do what you want.

when the person that gets the message from one of the guest MB's they would then have to log into the group MB to delete it correct?

Yes...there were some issues with it being a little less than ideal because of what you are saying. Also the message will still be in the guest mailboxes and will still call out unless they all get deleted. So whoever gets the message will need to go in and delete them from the guest mailboxes as well. Maybe the cascade box could be the first one in the group? Sounds like before you sell it you will need to set it up and test it.

Yes its going to be less than ideal but at least there is a way. If you delete the message from the group box it will automaticaly delete from the other guest boxes right? Also I know you cant have a cascade box in a group box it will only take user and guest mailboxes. Thanks for all of your help
