I have a customer with a CS200. They are in a High Government security area. They have had a network breach and are paranoid now (go figure). Anyways my question: Is there a way to disable the modem or change the access code. I am speaking with ESI right now as I type but no one seems to have an answer. Just a shot in the dark but there are many great minds here and just thought I would throw this out here. As well as the customer has told us if it cannot then they would change phone systems, and i don't want that since they are a good customer, just a little scared right now.

You can certainly change the access code..it requires the password to get into the system so change the password.
Let us know what ESI says.

True you can change the password, BUT from a security standpoint it's still an issue because the modem has actually CONNECTED to the switch THEN asks for the password.
I checked with my guru's and we've drawn a blank.
