I'm having trouble with using F34 number exchange range programming. It is an uninstalled new CS-200 on my bench and there are 48 digital and 24 IP ports involved. I get errors and invalid extension messages.

I won't have anything to do with that feature (yet) due to issues.

We only tried it once and had all sorts of problems.

I had an issue the other day with number exchange on a system that has had many exchanges in the past with no trouble. I had installed a new DLC12 card. when I tried to do number exchanges after that in esi programmer it gave me errors and would not perform the exchange. When I tried to do it through phone set programming I got an "that extension is busy" message(the extensions and system were idle at the time). Restarting the systems did not help. Tech assist had the same trouble and was going to refer it to next level.

Before I left, I did a system back up and then tried one more time. And what do you know, no more trouble, the exchange went as it should.

we do number exchange all the time, it does work.

I did however have a problem once, called field support, turns out I was using an Outdated version of System Programmer( which, if you know anything about esi, they change software quite a lot!) but, that did fix it.
