i have a S-class 12x24x6 all esi phones programmed thru F31 to press 9 for dial tone.
for some reason ext 106 when you pick up you get dial tone straight away without pressing 9 thus you cant dial another ext if you want to ??

Press program 34 from this phone,and make sure it is set to disable

The end user at Ext 106 must have enabled what is referred to as "outside dial tone preference" when they were tinkering with the new phone to see what it could do. PRGM-3-4 and scroll to disable then pound to confirm and then 106 will be like the rest.
