I have programmed a dss button with an extension in an effort to tes/try something out. Now I do not know how to delete/clear the button back so it has no extension number on it at all.

In an effort to not drive the lady crazy that uses the phone I reporgrammed the button to an unused cross connect.

Any idea as to how I can restore it back to a clear button?

As always thank you.

Press hold after holding the button down for a couple of seconds

press the program key and number 2 on the dial pad, all the keys that have something programmed on them will light up, touch any of those keys, it will tell you what is on them, then touch the hold key to erase what is on that key, or: dial in the new ext or feature code.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
