Are you sure CID is enabled in f24? You only see the line number in the display when CID is not enabled. If CID is enabled but not read you will only see an arrow in the display. > . Not LINE 1.

ya i called esi-tech support and i had them clear my cid buffer, it was full, i had programed on all buttons a caller id button to see the last incoming calls, and that filled up my buffer, plus in order for me to not get this again i have to upgrade to newer version.. any ways esi tech support cleared my buffer and all is well now.. just a reminder to all your customers don't program a caller id button lol

Hm, every system I have has caller ID buttons on every phone, it's included in all of my button mapping. How many phones/lines are on this system?

Oh, It's an IP-200 not a CS-200? Never mind. Thanks.

When you put you butt set on the lines are you getting a single ring cadence from the the carrier or do you get a double ring cadence? ESI does not support caller-id with a double ring cadence. The reason is whent the first ring, goes ring, ring the system thinks it is acutally the second ring and wants the caller id data burst and does not receive it when the carrier sends it. If you are receiving a single cadence ring make a few test calls to the same line and listen with your butt set for the caller id data busrt(sounds like a modem connecting briefly). You should hear it come in consitantly at the same time during the ring cycle. If it is not consistant the ESI system will have an issue picking collecting the caller-id data. If all of this checks out ESI TS should be able to assist you with adjusting the caller-id gain. They should also be able to see the caller-id information coiming in on the system if it is receiving it.
