does any one have a fix? for the 24 button phone
when it is wall mounted, The clip does not hold the handset in place. Very well?

I've never had that problem, with the 24 key phones. Maybe that particular phone has a broken switch, we had one mounted in our office for a few years without a problem.

All the phones come with the clip, try swapping with another.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..
