I have a 200 CS that has had an upgrade performed recently on it and the current running program is installed in slot 2. Now, ESI has just released a new software for the Comm Servers. I need to move my software to slot 1 so that I can perform the upgrade, but I do not know how to do this. Can anyone help.

You don't need to move to slot 2 with the comm servers.

My tech is not here right now , but I think you can move it by power cycling the systems 6 times in a row.

On the older systems if you power cycled I think 10 times it would re-iniailize the system

Do NOT power cycle the system! If you try 6 times in a row, and not let it boot up, you will ERASE Everything !!, as said here earlier, on the CS series, you dont need to move the software to load the new( esi does recommend when you get it to the current level, then move it to slot 1 ), if your Vendor has Master Tech, they can do it.

I agree with Brian. Do "NOT" power cycle multiple times. If you have an older version loaded in Slot 1 and the system is running on the version that is in Slot 2, it could re-boot back to the software that is in slot 1. You should refer to Technical Document Update 303 from ESI regarding the Software Re-verting back to an older version. If you don't have access to this document, an ESI Reseller can get this for you. Also ESI Master Tech or ESI Tech Support can change the software in your system from one slot to another.
