...we are receiving compliants about a sporadic issue that when the caller is leaving a message they get cut off half way through while leaving the message? This is on a 200.
Any ideas?

look at the voice mail energy threshold and recording silence value.

How old is the install? I just installed a 200 and had an intermittent one way transmission issue that affected VM as well as trunk calls. Turned out to be a defective D12.

Finally got resolution on the cut off issue...after checking ALL of the settings in the system we ventured over to the Verizon demarc side and found out that 4 of the cusotmers 12 incoming POTS lines were fully off static and hums. These four lines were for of the first six that are using for incoming. So we had the lines repaired, no more static, no more hum and no more cut offs. '
The line quality was so more that voicemail just dropped the call once the static or hum started.
Just good to keepp in mind
