Hoping someone could help with this one, have a customer with a 3 cabinet Adix with a bad port 001. Thought the port was bad on 408, but port still bad after swapping card, I'm thinking possible bad back plane in cabinet but wanted confirmation. I have swapped 408 and tried another amphenol calbe, still no luck. Extension works fine punched to another port just refuses to work on port 001. Problem is, this is a nursing home environment where the room phones are programmed to auomaticly ring the receptionist phone if they don't dial any digits after a couple seconds. I can set up the extension on another port but where do I program the "ringdown" option so the residents will ring to the new port? Does the Adix have some sort of set relocation that might make this easier for me? Any help appreciated.

After you have built the new ext, put the port # in class 4 item 55 For the ringdown Class 10 item 55(prime line access) put in the ext you want it to ring to hope this helps, and sounds like the board is bad ------------------ www.gocorptech.com

It sounds like they are using a E-response set up. You'll have to change the port number. Call me and we'll work it out. ![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/wink.gif)

I doubt the adix port 001 is bad in backplane, check amp cables, block punch downs etc.. confirm config programming (generally port 001 is programmed as attendant; 001, 001), make sure it is programmed for KP 129. Also there can be problems with the adix if you have a an attendant phone with a dss assigned to it and you unplug/replug the phone and dss in the wrong order (the dss tries to be the phone and vise-versa). To correct you may have to reload config and reset system with phone/dss in proper port locations. Hope this helps.
