My Executone 512 Encore CX system with 4 CX 21 phones came preprogrammed to give dial tone & ring in on the first 2 CO lines coming in. With its service manual from station 100 I go off hook (edited password) Flash 61 flash 30 0103 HOLD. I was hoping that this would be enough to bring out the 3rd line on all the phones for both ring & dial tone. I need help as a first time programmer from someone to tell me what I am overlooking so I can make the 3rd line available on all 4 phones. The rest of the preprogrammed values we can live with. Please help me get over this hump. I do not have any specific worksheets on how they programmed before.

Need to make sure you enter extension range of all the phones being used.

If older software program in flash 30

If newer software;
Need to program in Flash40, page B, Button 7.
BBLLR BB= button # LL= line# R= ring 03033

Good Luck!!

Thanks JJ, I had to flash 60-61-62-63-64. I have no display phone but it has turned out OK so far.

I also have a Exectone CX512 phone system and I am having the same problem and tried to reinitalize but it didn't solve the problem.
I am having a problem trying to program my phone lines to ring at all phones. I am not a programer and I think that is most of my problem. I think I am close but I need someone to review my commands to see why I am not getting the results I expected. The procedure I followed is: (Passsword) (peep heard) FLASH 40 (button 12 lights up) 100107 (peep heard) At this point everything is fine and dandy except for button 10 lighting up in the above buttons. I ignore it and push button 8 for C.O. line. (button lights up and button 10 remains lit). I try to input the following numbers 023 for line 2 to ring day and night but the system will not except even the first number. I have tried unplugging the phone that button 10 corresponse with but no help still the same problem. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Josh

Hi, Josh:

It would be best to post your question as a new topic to get better exposure. At the upper right corner of this page, there is an icon beneath the "apparel" button that allows you to start an entirely new thread.
