Hi,

I was given and Iwatsu Omega Phone system and some phones to start practicing on. I need to know how to get into the CPU and the Vmail System. Can someone help me out? I have all the cabels, power supply and a full KSU with cards.

I'm assuming this is a VS? Hook the CAT 5 modem cable to laptop COM port using Iwatsu adapter. The other end plugs directly to the CPU.

Programming Download
1. Open Adix Programmer software program
2. From COMMUNICATION choose CONNECT
3. On the SITE tab choose CONNECT (Enter pass code if necessary)
4. Identify the version and make a note of it
5. Create NEW and SAVE AS file type to match version indicated in #3
6. Name the file and save
7. Select System Configuration Download (TV zigzag icon)
8. Download system data [Down arrow icon], Select All and confirm download. All should pass.
9. Disconnect

Thanks. Where can I get the Adix Programmer software?

I can manage the ADIX-E through 1X-12KTD-3(12 BUTTON DISPLAY MULTILINE TELEPHONE -3)OMEGA-PHONE.
But I through Rpc8u(8[1].01)asia.exe to manage the ADIX-E but always show the message: Data Linkage not Ready. Should be enter password first, is it?

Where can I get a copy of the Adix Programmer Software?

I just got a call on someone needing help with the same system and I've never worked on it. I would like to know where you get the software also???

This is a proprietary software that needs to be obtained directly through Iwatsu and only available to their authorized dealers. The only other way would be if you knew a dealer or programmer that would let you have a copy.

Is Iwatsu's software still unavailable to the public? I was recently asked to administer an Adix system, but of course, this is not feasible without the software. My next best guess is to suggest purchasing an Avaya product since their software IS available to the public. Either way, I’m in pretty deep already with management. Does anyone have any suggestions? The Iwatsu is still, and will continue to be for the foreseeable future, proprietary software.

Depending on your customer's needs, you may consider subcontracting someone experienced and certified to assist you. If you want to remain in good-standing with the management, it seems prudent to insure that they purchase a product that fits their needs and leaves them satisfied. You would hate to allow your limitation in experience spoil the relationship you've cultivated.
