We have a Enterprise CS Adix
When we program buttons on our phones they function but the lights do not work correctly. For example, if I change a DSS key to a Float key, the light still flashes the way it did when it was a DSS key. The button works correctly, just not the light. Is there something I need to do other than reset my system everytime we program a key.
Thanks,
Sander

The only way to make it more likely that this doesn't happen without having to do a reset is to #1) make sure there are no keys on the key set currently flashing, #2) unplug the line cord from the back of the phone you will be reprogramming, 3) make the change with the software Programmer, then #4) plug the phone back in.
If you are programming via the keyset, there is no way to guarantee the lights will agree with your changes. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure the ECS allows KT programming of the key pattern.
Anyway, that is how I handle key changes in general, and I have rarely had to reset a system if this is the only change.
Hope this helps.

You can use the Feat # 8 and the key method to refresh the light of the key

Perfect! The refresh method was exactly what I needed. Thanks.

Make sure to also break your link after any programing in class 14 or 15. It looks like this is still true with the ecs as it was with the aps.
