Our SLT lines are currently configured to go automatically to a CO line when the handset is picked up and to require a "flash" before dialling ICM. We would like to change this to go automatically to ICM when the handset is picked up and to require a "9" before dialling on the CO line. Which settings in the ECS Programmer should be changed to accomplish this?

The phone is probably prime lined with a 9. Just remove it in class 10.

Thanks, we're getting closer. The four SLT lines were prime lined with a "92" in Class 10. We removed the "92" and now we can dial ICM directly. Where do we enter the "9" to force the user to hit "9" for a CO line?

What trunk group does "9" access? Are you using Optimized Routing? Otherwise just have them dial "92"

Look in class 07, item 03 and see what co group is set for "92" since that worked, change to a "9" if no other co groups are set for a "9x". If other co groups are set for a "9x", you will need to determine if they are actually being used before changing the 92 to a 9. (x=any other digit). Hope this helps

We have 91, 92 and 93 programmed for Group 1 (Lines 4 to 1), Group 2 (Lines 8 to 5) and Group 3 (4 lines, but there is no copper into the third card), respectively. We'll leave the programming as it is and have the few users of the SLTs use 91 or 92 to get an outside line.

Thank you both for your help.
