We have a couple of Polycoms in our offices, but we are using analog ports for those. Is there a better way to get a good conference phone working in our remote offices that only have digital ports?

If you're running on the ECS you could use a SIP compliant Polycom. Make a Call, Take a Call, and Hold are the only features available with the current software load however.

You can add an IX-LRSP loud ringer/external speakerphone board to KTD/S-2 series phones. This provides an audio connection to an external phone, along with a loud-ringer contact. If you're using KTD/S-3 series phones, use the IX-LRAU, which provides the same connections along with an audio out connection for recording purposs.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

Just because it is analog, doesn't make it bad, and just because it is digital doesn't make it better. You won't see any performance differences in one or the other when talking about conference phones. To answer your question, Polycom makes several digital versions of their conference phone, Avaya and Nortel compatability are a couple. Unless they have changed something recently, they don't make a conference phone compatible with an Iwatsu digital port.
