Hi, I have a customer that has a ZXT-S616. The manual said that the first 16 buttons on a phone are DSS buttons starting at ext 20-37. BUT only buttons 1 - 7 work. I added a new phone ext 27 and none of the other phones can call it using the DSS keys. The manual said those DSS key are fixed and cannot change the exts around. Does anyone have any thoughs ??? PS inprogramming I did tell ext 27 its 1st 16 buttons are DSS buttons.

You have to program each indivdual station, telling the system which key is the starting point for SPEED DIALS as opposed to DSS buttons. In your case each extension is now programmed for SPEED DIALS beginning at button number eight. Re-program each extension for SPEED DIALS beginning at button number nine.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
