Hello all,
I'm going to be installing an external MOH unit on an Iwatsu Enterprise 2.2 phone system.
I'm having some trouble determining what the input connector is for this system and the client is in another state and has no one who can go to the phone system for me. Their phone vendor's telephone number has been disconnected, so I am unable to contact them.
From what I've determined the input connector for an Enterprise 2.2 will either be an RCA or an RJ-11. I was going to make an RCA to RJ-11 adaptor, but discovered that I really have no idea which pins on the RJ-11 I would need to connect to the RCA.
Does anyone know which pins the Enterprise uses for MOH, or am I completely off base here?

I would try connecting the center pins of a 4p4c jack to your RCA cord. On the Iwatsu VS, that is what we use.

If you use a 4p4c jack, the inside pair (pins 2,3)will connect the BGM input and the outside pair (pins 1,4) will connect the MOH input.
The VS connects similarly; the inner pins are not used for BGM, however.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.
