I have a adix aps system. The problem that I am having is that I have put in a new ix-12ktd-2 (12 button phone). It will ring when called for so long then it just stop ringing when you try to call it again. So when it will not ring anymore you have to unplug it and let it set for 10 or 20 seconds. Then plug it back up and everything works fine for a few days or hours then it stops ringing again.

Iwatsu had a problem with the speakers in ktd-2 phones. Its a bad solder connection on the pcb
for the speaker.

Try swapping it with a known working phone for a few days and see if it follows the phone or the port.

There are plastic jumper straps that come loose inside the phone unerneath the display. They vibrate loose when the handset gets hung up and it affects all audio not just ringing. If you are careful and the phone is not under warranty it is possible to tighten those. You should have some tech experience with hardware as the phones are very pricey if you make a mistake.
If at first you don't succeed, try again before you call and piss off tech support!
