I'm in need of the Iwatsu Programmer application. We have the ECS networked with our rack mounted server. Now we would like to start developing some applications.
We are signed up for our installer's $250 class sometime in Sept. just to get the Programmer application. But we would like to get started before then.
Where can we get this application. Quite frankly, we are pleased with the Iwatsu solution, but are a little tired of Iwatsu's draconian treatment with regard to software and manuals for hardware we purchased and own.

There are very good reasons that Iwatsu keeps close wraps on its distribution of programming software and manuals. Without the proper training, you are apt to do far more harm than good to your phone system. You did purchase the hardware and user manuals, but Iwatsu is also very open with the fact that this is a system to be installed and maintained by a certified or at least qualified technician.
Without training you will not be able to to get a copy of the Iwatsu Programmer. It is only available to Distributors and technicians. I suggest that you keep your appointment for class so that you will be able to capably navigate the myriad of options your system offers.

I totally agree with that philosophy for the average system owner.

Pay attention to the lady. You have absolutely NO clue how the programs interact and how much operational (Not Physical) damage you can do with 1 miniscule change on what you thought was 1 extension's capabilities. I've always enjoyed the ADIX capabilities, but if you aren't careful, well ...........! John C. (Not Garand)

Wow! It cost me $750 to get "trained" on the Programmer. But at least I have it now. Thanks for all the responses on this board. I do appreciate and respect your advice of "be careful".
