Does the upgrade consist of changing out the rom1 and rom2 chips and thats it?

That's pretty much all there is to it. There's no way to upgrade the database, so you'll have to re-program everything again.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

If you are trying to use VM, there is a caveat. Trying to remember what the IC is on the CPU (Highway Controller ?), but it must be ver. 2(?) to generate in-band signaling. If you have a ver 3 CPU chipset now, you 'should' be ok. John C.
