Not sure what happened, but I have a user on the Iwatsu system that no longer gets the blinking light notifying her of new voicemails.

I switched phones to make sure it wasn't simply the light being out, but that didn't work.

Not sure what to check, looked at the settings on the extension via ADIX Programmer but they are identical to mine and my light works.

Any suggestions?

Are you referring to the MSG/MBOX button not blinking, or the large, green LED at the top of the phone not blinking?

What system software version are we dealing with?

Has the user recently changed the type of phone being used, such as switching out a Versa phone for a KTD?

Sorry, it's the MSG button on the top right hand corner of the phone. This is a gray 24 button IX phone. She hasn't changed anything. We did have to replace the board on the ADIX system a while back, and it had to be completely reprogrammed, so there might be something up with her extension but I cannot figure out what.

Check the key pattern for the phone that doesn't work to verify the key number that has MSG assigned. If the phone in question is a display phone, press FEAT, #, 9 then the MSG button. If it IS programmed as the MSG button, the display will show it as MSG.

Also, verify that the message waiting light has not been turned off/defeated by the voice mail system.

Are you using the OmegaVoice VMI (a card inside the phone system )or an external voice mail system?

We are using the OmegaVoice VMI card inside the phone box, so it's part of the system not an external system.

I tried changing her key pattern to a different number, no luck.

Can the light be turned off for just one user inside the V/M system?

Message waiting lights can be disabled/defeated on a per-user basis by the voice mail system in the Mailbox tab of the VMI programmer. Check to be sure the mailbox in question doesn't have that checked.

It's also possible that the light has been disabled in phone system programming. Check item 10.45
