Having trouble with an Adix APS 8.15 with a PRI. I pionted a DNIS number to a hunt group and I'm having trouble setting up an over flow to a mail box of one of the members. At this time I'm getting a busy signal when all of the members are busy.

Try listing the mailbox number you want next to the hunt group access number in Class 25. You may have to manipulate some timers to keep too many calls from forwarding.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

This is true that busy tone heard when all the members of hunting group being busy. Try adding one more member to the hunt group where it is a single line or dummy port of DDI card.

Normal hunt groups do not support forwarding out of the huntgroup. You need to configure the group as a UCD hunt group, set the hunt group access code to be the voicemail box number you want overflow calls to go to (obviously, this can't be the same as someone's extension, so just make a dummy mailbox for this) and set the overflow for UCD to ring to the voicemail huntgroup.

That should allow for calls to ring on the huntgroup and then overflow after the UCD overflow timer expires.

Another idea - Point the incoming DNIS number to an available trunk access number (11.02). Then set that trunk to DIL to the target hunt group. This type of DNIS processing changes the characteristics of the incoming call to a busy hunt group. The call to the busy hunt group should "camp-on" to one of the stations in the hunt group.
To get that call to a mailbox - Undrhill is correct. You'll have to change the hunt group to a UCD group and set overflow to hunt group 47 (VM). The call will go to a mailbox/menu number based on the pilot number of the hunt group (not an individual user box)
The system is not detecting the busy signal and getting the call to VM will be based on UCD overflow time, but at least the calling party will hear ringback

I've done this before. I must have had a brain fad or something. I even set this up on the same customer. Thank for the kick in the head. the programming in place and working with the customer happy!
