I have an Iwatsu Adix that on a few single line extensions I am unable to dial the trunk access code and directly access the trunk. My access codes for the trunks are 801-812. This appears to be on a per port and not on a whole card. (Port 73 ext 627 unable to dial access codes port 74 ext 628 can dial codes. Both ports have access to line group in 10.21) They do use optimized class 17....port 73 unable to call out port 74 can call out ok. 10.23 Toll Level and Class both set to 0.

Try dialing those access codes from a KT. If they can't access either run a number check. Sounds like you may have a number conflict with 801-812.In fact I know you do. If you dial 80 you will get All call paging. Check 07.04 group 63 you will probably find it at 80. If they do not use paging remove it or change you Trk access codes to 810-822.

Any port that is set for FORCED Optimization will be unable to dial trunk access codes.

Class 10.23 is Toll Restriction programming- not the same as Optimized Routing.

Check settings for 10.33 for your extensions. Also, check 10.32 for your extensions. The fast busy you get when dialing 9 indicates that extension is not allowed to make Optimized calls.

Also, check 10.21 to determine if the extension(s) in question are allowed to use ALL outgoing trunk groups

Thanks JBean-
Our ultimate goal on this has been to take line 12 <TRK012> out of the outgoing trunk groups so that the only way to make an outbound call on that line is by either directly accessing it from a line key on the KT or by dialing the trunk access code from a single line, KT or Versa Phone. That part is done. However, there are a few (not all) single line sets that CANNOT dial the access code. (ports 043, 044, 073, 075, 077, 078,079 & 080) I have swapped cards- moved card from ports 73-80 moved to ports 57-64 - all ports can access when card is moved- known working card does not work in new location. Ports do have ICM DT and can call ICM's.
