I have a customer complaining that the audio is low when they call into their office. I have not gone down there yet to check for myself. I have placed calls down there and haven't had any problems hearing people, but there is more than one person saying they are having some issues. Is there a setting in programming for Audio level on CO lines?

I don't know why people always think the trouble is always in their equipment. Just because the telco says so? After all, with all the providers out there who can point the finger?

When you get there, first you have to figure out which one. Then swap with a known good port and see if the problem stays on old port or moves. Let me guess, you know this. laugh John c.

There is nothing in programming to control audio level. But on the TRK card there is a 0-3db strap setting for each trk. Check to se what position this set jack is on. If it is 3db change it to 0db and se if this helps. This set jack adds or removes 3db of padding on the trk audio.

Thanks for the tip on the straps. The customer is nuts though. I tested lines and everyone sounds fantastic. Then come to find out it's not everyone in the office but just a few people... Thanks for the responses.
