648 System
My DID range is 4300-4499
A new tenant will be moving in and want to port the number ending in 3339. My phone company will NOT send DNIS as a policy.
When I look at the Y>A screen, I have DID Digits that start at 300 and go through 999. DID 339 is already assigned to an active extension.
What am I to do? The phone company siad they could create a "market Expansion Line" that would forward the 3339 number to a different number at the cost of $16+ per month. Is there something I can do within the switch? Can I force the phone company to send DNIS?
Thanks, Magnus

Change Telco vendors using number portability, and hookup line to system aes a POTS line.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

If your not using transparent ICM or Centralized VM, Have both venders switch to 4 digit DID.

Have the telco company change the digits they send you, they dont have to match. This new number has the last three digits of 359, have telco send you 123. Add 123 to your DID table and then program it to go where you want it to go.
If your not having fun, go find something else to do.
