You have to bear with me. When I see 'ADIX' in the description, I start thinking in terms of the ADIX system- the ones that came out before the ECS. No matter, the stuff you want to do programs the same way. At the top of the programmer window, click on the 'Itm' button and all the stuff you've read will make sense. This make the programmer show programming items by Class instead of the tree on the left. Might be a little easier to navigate based on the instructions you have.
'Station Password' is for other features and doesn't apply to what you're doing.
If you start scrolling at bin number 850 in System speed dial you'll see the existing account code(s). List your code in the next bin, and put a '#' in the bin after that. If you have existing codes, all the other programming is done for you. Make sure the new station programming matches the stations already set up.
Stacey-BTW- the 'crack' part is the only thing I remember from plumbing school...

Well, I think we are getting somewhere now. I am in the ITM screen and seeing (finally) the same menu's that you are seeing. I looked and per your message from the 20th "You'll have to designate the outgoing lines as Forced Account lines in Class 11, designate the station as Forced account in Class 10 and remove Toll Restriction from the station, and list Account codes in Class 5 and enable them in Class 4." Trouble is that I don't really see any obvious set up info in those areas. They say that they already have a phone (1148) that worked properly. (Now they are saying that at times when they key in the password they get a fast busy - we just switched to 10 digit dialing locally and I wonder if those are the numbers where they are forgetting the new area codes) but anyway - we should be seeing the setup for that station but it looks like all the rest. Can you be more specific about where to look? I checked the speed dial and there is not one entry in the entire table (including after 850).
I may need to set them both up with a new method and that is okay - I just am unclear exactly how to do that. Thanks for the info on ITM. It looks much more like you described now.

If there's nothing listed after bin 850, it's possible the account codes are provided by your telco.
What specific keystrokes does a user have to employ to call out?
