I have seen people putting Vonage lines on phone systems lately. Not a bad idea and it seems to work ok. The disconnect supervision is a little messed but there are ways around that.

Another Tech claimed he called Vonage and after some persuasion of Tech Support they changed a parameter in the box that turned on disconnect supervision.
