Looking for a good/reliable low cost SIP Gateway for existing Key/PBX Customers. I looked thru most of the threads and found several references, but no one really giving a good recomendation.
We really just want to be able to give our existing customer the ability to use some WIFI SIP phones or maybe have the owner or sales manager put a SIP phone out at his house.
I am assuming I should be able to hand off an IST/Analog port from my system to the VoIP Gateway and then program my SIP phone to talk to the gateway... I should get access to some system features, intercom, and be able to dial out.
I appreciate any input from someone whos done this. Thanks!

Asterisk is a extremely flexible, low cost solution, but it requires familiarity with Linux.

the asterisk@home iso cd is what i'm playing with now. pop the cd in and boot it up. 30-40 minutes later you have a basic asterisk system. you'll need an fxo card to tie into the analog port of your system. and the computer you install it on will be wiped out of EVERYTHING on it! very flexible! if you really want to get into it, it involves alot of config file editing. but you can do basic stuff from the web portal.
