I'm trying to integrate a VXII with an IDS 108 phone system. All communications from the phone system to voice mail seem to work fine. But the outdial and transfer features are not working properly. I'm guessing that my PBX configuration is wrong.

Here are some of my particulars if anyone can help.
ACPU 8.0.2
Infostar version VX26.0.0
Integration type: SMDI1 (via RS232 port)
DNIS GoTo: CCRBX 0001
Line Setup GoTo: blank

I've tried all possible combinations with 9 in them for the outdial prefix. I've used 2 digits, 3 digits, pound signs, commas and asterisks in various places. When I'm using a phone I dial 9001 to get the first outside line. I even tried that as the prefix.

I'm having similar trouble with transfers to extensions. If anyone can offer any help I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not sure but I think that "outdial" was an optional feature not always ordered on the VXII. Fairly sure outdial and reports were optional. Can anyone else help out here?
I remember beating myself up right after returning from school to install a VXII and not getting it to outdial and being told that it wasn't ordered, seems like I checked somewhere in the VXII setup or dongle info.

The first few VXII where optional for outdial. He has a VX3, because he has 6.0 software. It sounds like a integration problem. Would double check all seeting. Use the monitor screen in the voicemail to see if voicemail is sending proper information.

Good Luck!!

If all else fails, use a BFH.
