Just installed our first IPShark. The installation went very smooth. We're use to selling and installing Digital phone systems. Not a bad experience at all. Pretty neat.
It's an asterisk distribution that is designed to be more plug-and-play, similar to how trixbox is.
The interface was modeled after FreePBX's interface due to it's popularity (FreePBX is the interface trixbox uses). Lets you set-up a basic AA, Queuing, Call Routing, Sip Trunks, and extensions. Has a polycom configurator in it (which is Nice!).
It is better then Trixbox IMHO. It's a system that was written specifically to operate within itself where as Trixbox was primarily a collage of different software packages (that sometimes conflict). Both are designed to run on top of Asterisk obviously.
It is a good solution for small systems that have light call volumes (under 10K/day by my guestimate). I've never done any load-testing on it but from what I hear it's superior to Trixbox in most ways.
200 is a high number to hit with asterisk, specially the v.1.4 branch. Biggest asterisk server i've ever done was 16 PRI's. That needed some slight tweaking in order to run right. For production we ended up scaling back to 12 PRI's. That was all with 1.2 asterisk.
