OK, here we have a situation. Telephones that won't do what telephones have been doing for over 100 years. I hate to say this but your best solution is to replace the faulty equipment with equipment that will actually work. I can't quote the source but I remember the statement "A telephone makes an excellent telephone"!
My question is simple. What area of expertise was the person in that recommended your setup?Go to the person or persons that contrived this arrangement for you business and get their recommendation then come back and fill us in with the information. We'll throw it against the wall and see if it sticks for you!

Whatever your own soft material of preference is. Mini-marshmallows are popular right now. However I kind of like the idea of a Linus(c)blanket. If nothing else works you can hide under the blanket and nap!

QOS, QOS, QOS........Jitter, Delay, Bandwidth and Packet Loss are your problems, not your speaker phone, at least you need to get your network straight before blaming the end point.
Your voice network over your data network just won't work. You need to setup VLANS, correct protocol and tag your packets at layer 2 with a class of service 5 or better.............

well i set up seperate vlan and this corrected the problem, however i had to manage some phones jitter and echo settings different to correct problem. the lesson learned is voip is an animal that needs special attention and each case is different. system works great now and will report back on a 7 site install that i have planned for 1st quarter.
thank you for all your assistance. i did not try the blanket trick however it got me thinking about how this stuff works and to think outside the box.

Hmmm, conference calls under a blanket? Sounds like a Cleveland Steamer waiting to happen to me........or if you prefer, "Did someone say Dutch Oven?"........how about "Who wants to play turtle?"
