We're getting ready to install a Vertical Wave IP2500 in our office and I'm very curious to bang on it a bit to see just how vulnerable it is. I'll probably start off with it on an old hub to make packet sniffing super-easy but eventually it's going on a Procurve 2626-PWR.

very cool, keep us updated? Plan on trying to spoof mac, and phone on a VLAN?

i plan on trying as many things as i have time to, but the first thing will be to see just what you can and can't do with Cain & Abel. there's no denying it, it's a pretty cool tool.
i'll definitely keep y'all updated. we just installed our first SBX IP320 and i gotta say, i like that li'l guy. disturbingly easy to program.. actually, one of my techs calls it the DHS IP320 because programming from the phone is sort of like a combination of the old Vodavi DHS and Nortel's ICS series. it definitely shares minimal DNA with the Starplus family.
