My VX 3 loses a few minutes a day. I have replaced the battery on the motherboard and reset the time in bios. Every day I still lose a few minutes sometimes more. Any ideas?

The RTC on the mainboard is read once at boot-- after that, the OS tracks the time.
If your VX3 is incredibly busy, the extra interrupts can slew the clock somewhat.
Additionally, if the system is underclocked, or if power management features kick in, that can slow the software clock.
