I am trying to find info on how to setup a VoIP system to connect 4 offices together so that users can transfer calls between sites as if they were on the same system.
Our main office has an Executone 108, the other offices just have 3-4 PSTN lines. I have been looking at Asterisk open source and was wondering if there is a way to use our existing 108 with Asterisk. We use ACD on the 108 in the main office and would like to have a way that callers hitting the 108's ACD groups would be directed to extensions (both local and remote) - no matter where they are located at any of the 4 offices. The main office has a T-1 card in the 108 and we have a separate data T-1 for Internet. The other offices have DSL connections and are connected to the main office via a VPN between their firewalls.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Ain't gonna happen :>(
Not unless you had at least a 108 at each of the other office's...then it ' might work '
You would also need certain ' options ' turned on in each of those 108's..
A LOT of $$$
Maybe Time to look at a system that is CAPABLE of VOIP....
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel..

Check out RAD IPmux.
IPmux-1 and IPmux-1E are TDMoIP gateways enabling E1/T1, ISDN-BRI, and FXS communication over asynchronous IP and Ethernet networks • Ethernet network port supports either copper UTP or fiber options • Optional Ethernet user port offers: Transparent LAN bridging User data bandwidth management through rate limiting • Both structured (full or fractional) and unframed E1/T1 are supported • Two-wire FXS voice ports support standard analog telephones and key systems
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

We currently have an Asterisk iPBX connected to our Executone. If you can find a way to route the call from your ACD queue out the T1 channel to the Asterisk then you can do whatever you want at that point. If you have an Asterisk server at each of the locations.
How many phone calls do you expect concurrently in the remote offices? I ask because with only a DSL line you may run into bandwidth issues.
